This Privacy Policy explains how Volte Retail Private Limited ("VOLTĒ", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use the VOLTĒ mobile and web application and our websites at volteboutique.in, volteboutique.com and app.volteboutique.in (together, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here.
We use personal data to create and secure your account; operate the Platform; process orders, payments and VOLTĒ Coins; personalise your experience; communicate with you about your account and orders; improve and protect the service; and comply with legal obligations.
VOLTĒ uses a third-party authentication provider to offer sign-in with Google, Apple, Facebook and email. When you choose one of these options, we receive basic profile information — your name, email address and profile picture — from that provider in order to create and secure your VOLTĒ account. We do not post to your social accounts and we do not access your contacts, friends or posts.
VOLTĒ Coins is our loyalty programme. Where you join VOLTĒ through IFHL, we and IFHL may exchange limited information — such as a customer reference and segmentation cohort — to credit your welcome benefit and operate the programme. VOLTĒ Coins are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
We share personal data with: service providers that help us run the Platform (hosting, authentication, analytics, payment processing and delivery); business partners such as IFHL as described above; brands and sellers where needed to fulfil your orders; and legal or regulatory authorities where required by law or to protect our rights. We may also share data in connection with a merger, acquisition or other business transfer. We do not sell your personal data.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and understand how the Platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser or device settings; disabling them may affect parts of the Platform.
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes set out in this policy or as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised. The Platform is intended for users aged 18 years and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.
